WALTER POPROSKI
An illness resulted in the death Saturday afternoon at 2:30 of Walter Poproski at the home of his brother-in-law, Chester Ptashinski, 33 Chestnut Street, Glen Lyon, with whom he resided. Born in Poland, he lived in Glen Lyon 65 years. He worked at the Susquehanna Colliery and retired in 1950.
His wife, Anna, died in 1958, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Ptashinski, died May 3.
A member of St. Adalbert's Church and its Holy Name Society, he also belonged to UMWA Local 1167.
Surviving are his brother-in-law, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Kotecki, Glen Lyon.
Funeral will be held from the Stralka-Polniaszek Funeral Home, 211 West Main Street,
Glen Lyon, Tuesday morning at 8:30, with a Requiem Mass at 3 at St. Adalbert's Church, and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
