Graveside services for LeRoy Piper will be held in the Falls City Catholic Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday.
Father Robert Roh will officiate.
Mr. Piper, 78, 2403 Wilson Street, died Thursday, June 3, 1993, at the Bryan Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. He had entered the hospital on May 29. The body of Mr. Piper was cremated.
Born March 1, 1915, in Atchison County, Kan., he was a son of the late Oscar Piper and Lula Surritte Piper. He graduated from the Potter, Kan., High School.
On Aug. 28, 1963, he was married to Mary "Mickey" Wilson in Nevada, Mo. The couple established their home in Falls City.
Mr. Piper worked for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad for 35 years. He was in the maintenance and way department. He retired on June 15, 1975.
He was a member of the BPO Elks Lodge No. 963.
Survivors include his wife, Mickey, Falls City; two sons, Wallace Piper, Baldwin, Kan., and William Piper, Belton, Mo.; three brothers, Floyd Piper, Atchison, Kan., Marvin Piper, Aurora, Colo., and Charles Piper, Mesa, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
