Hulda was the youngest of five daughters born to Daniel M. and Emma G. (Allred) Kivett. She married David William Martin and they were the parents of two children: Barbara Ann and James David.

LIBERTY - Mrs. Hulda Martin, 52, of Rt. 1, died in Randolph Hospital, Asheboro, Sunday. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Grays Chapel Methodist Church. The body is at the Loflin Funeral Home.
Survivors are husband, David W. Martin; daughter, Mrs. Michael Shelton of Raleigh; son, James David Martin of Liberty; mother, Mrs. Emma Kivett of Rt. 1; sisters, Mrs. John J. Lineberry, of Rt. 1, Mrs. Zelma Pugh of Greensboro, Mrs. Fred Broadstreet of Asheboro.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-9 tonight.
