Rev. Boykins died Monday
at Memorial Hospital of
Galveston County in Texas
City after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 30, 1907 in
Chacahoula, La.
A wake will be held
Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Mainland Funeral Home
Chapel in La Marque.
Burial
services will follow the
funeral at Mainland
Memorial Cemetery in
Hitchcock.
Survivors include one
sister, Gracie B. Thomas of
Hitchcock; four brothers,
Elisha Boykins of Hitchcock,
the Rev. Benjamin
Boykins of Thibodeaux, La.,
Lawrence Boykin s of
Homer, La., James Boykins
of Homer, La., one uncle,
and a host of nieces,
nephews and other relatives
and friends.
Pallbearers will be
friends of the family.
