Allen Hooks, 85, of Kirbyville died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Bleakwood Cemetery.
A native of Roganville, he lived most of his life in Kirbyville and was a retired justice of the peace in Newton County.
Survivors include his sons, Joe Allen Hooks of Kirbyville, Joe Edward Hooks of Port Neches, Claude Hooks of Humble, Noner Day Hooks of Jasper, Timmy Hooks of Old Salem and Lynn Hooks of Lake Charles, La.; daughter, Saundra Hillman of Hutton, La.; brothers, Parvin Hooks and Bud Hooks, both of Bleakwood and Oneal Hooks of DeSota; sisters, Susie Broussard of Johnson Bayou, La., Hattie Maselli, Melbaline Mondello and Finetta Cochran, all of Bleakwood; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
