FRANK L. BEAN Entered Into Eternal Rest Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1966
GORHAM - Frank L. Bean, 76, of Narragansett St., a retired railroad man, died Tuesday at his home after a short illness.
Mr. Bean retired eight years ago as a Portland Terminal Co. employee after 43 years.
He was born in Portland, June 3, 1890, son of Edward E. and Melvina Newcomb Bean. He attended Portland schools.
Mr. Bean had been a member of Gorham Lodge, IOOF; Narragansett Rebekah Lodge; Herrick Encampment; Canton Sebago; Amos; the Gorham fire Department and had been a town constable for several years.
Besides his wife, the former Elizabeth Newcomb Bean, he is survived by seven sons, William L., Philip L., Robert A., and Edward E., all of Gorham, Leonard H., Windham, Clyde F., Buxton, and Bernard A., Georgia a daughter, Miss Shirley Bean, Gorham; two brothers, a sister and a half-brother; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at 76 State Street, Gorham. Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery.

He had 12 children. William Leslie, Roland E., Philip Laughton, Leonard Hubert, Thelma Marie b. June 19, 1919 d. August 1, 1920, Robert Aston "Bob", Clyde Franklin, Edward Everett "Tink", Richard Stanley b. May 1924 d. October 16,1924, Shirley Mae, a stillborn daughter, Bernard Austin "Bernie".
