Mr. Zimmerman, 89, died May 6, 2013 at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, La. He was born in Donaldson, Ark. on Feb. 10, 1924 to Andrew Zimmerman and Rose Yerke Zimmerman.
He was a production worker for International Paper Co. in Natchez. Mr. Zimmerman was of the Presbyterian faith and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors are his nephews, Nicholas H. Zimmerman and Steve Andrew Zimmerman, both of Roxie.
