A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, in the Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes for Elsa Milda Brendler , who died Oct. 25 at age 93.
Mrs. Brendler was born Oct. 16, 1904, in Wildenthal, Germany. Her maiden name was Heydel. A Portland resident since 1926, she attended Faith Baptist and Lents Baptist churches. In 1925, she married Gustav A., who died in 1970.
Survivors include her sons, the Rev. Ron Brendler of Redding, Calif., and Harold Brendler of Portland; sister, Elfriede Eduard of Hemet, Calif.; brother, the Rev. Freimut Heydel of McMinnville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
