Frances A. Blick, 92, formerly of Oakfield, died on Friday, April 9, 2004, at the Woodland Health Care Center in Brookfield, Wis.
Frances was born on May 11, 1911, in Williamston, Wis., the daughter of Andrew and Rosa (Ziegler) Roethle.
She was a 1928 graduate of St. Mary Springs in Fond du Lac.
On Oct. 18, 1934, Frances was united in marriage to Harry J. Blick at St. Therese Church in Appleton. She lived in Oakfield for 62 years until moving to Brookfield in Feb. 2000.
Frances was a member of St. James Altar Society. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking for friends and playing cards.
Frances is survived by two sons, Dr. Michael (Jane) Blick of Brookfield and David Blick of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Mary (Dennis) Kane of Batavia, N.Y.; five grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; one sister, Gertrude Weber of Appleton.
Preceding Frances in death were her husband, Harry on May 1, 1976; and her parents.
• Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at the St. James Catholic Church, 101 N. Main Street, Oakfield, with the Rev. James B. Posanski officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Appleton.
• Visitation: Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
