Harry J. Blick, 68, of Oakfield, who owned and operated a meat market and locker plant in Oakfield until 20 years ago, died Saturday evening at Rolling Meadows Home for the Aged.

He was born May 17, 1907, at Appleton, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Blick. He married Frances Roethle at Appleton on Oct. 18, 1934.

The couple moved to Oakfield in 1940, where he operated his business until retiring due to ill health. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church at Oakfield and Holy Name Society. He was a former member of the Oakfield Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, David of Minneapolis, Minn., and Dr. Michael of Wauwatosa; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Mary) Kane of Batavia, N.Y.; four grandchildren; a brother, John of Appleton; and three sisters, Mrs. William Kellar, Mrs. Harvey Wolfgram and Miss Marie Blick all of Appleton.

Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Kohls Co. Funeral Home, Oakfield, and at St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Richard Fechhelm will officiate, and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Appleton.

Friends of Mr. Blick may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
