Emmamay Ellen Skirvin Emmamay Ellen (Naylor) Skirvin went home to be with the Lord April 30, 2013. She was born May 21, 1912 in Bloomington, IN to John and Grace (Fox) Naylor. She lived 10 years in the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, IN. She graduated from the Masonic Home High School Class of 1931. She attended IU.

On October 3, 1936 she married William H. Skirvin. She worked with him as a Pastor's wife, teaching Sunday School, Bible School, and Child Evangelism. She also played the piano for church services and gave piano lessons. Their last church was Arbutus Baptist Tabernacle.

She is survived by three daughters Evelyn (Morris) Stivers of Solsberry, IN; Dorothy (Ellwood) Plaisted of Long Prairie, MN; and Jeanne (Rick) Harris of Franklin, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1975, granddaughter, Teresa Plaisted, grandsons, Morris Stivers Jr., and Bobby Lee Stivers, son-in-law, Buddy Booth, brothers, Earl and Charles Naylor, and sister Velma Rosenow.

The family would like to extend thanks to the caring staff of Owen Valley Health Campus for their loving care of their mother.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 3, 2013 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard at 3000 East Third Street, Bloomington, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International at PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800 or Vista Care Hospice at 3401 South Fourth Street, Terre Haute, IN 47802
