ALICE ALLEN
Mrs. Alice Allen, 67, of 921 North 9th Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Feb. 16, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Bruce Hanstedt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Allen was born July 9, 1917, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Esther Hanson Stricker.
She attended Manitowoc schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1936. For many years Mrs. Allen was a clerk in the Ready-To-Wear Department of J C Penney Company when it was the downtown store. She married George Allen on November 4, 1951, at Manitowoc, the couple then residing here.
Survivors include her husband, George; three sisters, Emma Kimber and Adeline Austad of Sturgeon Bay and Beatrice Berglund of Manitowoc; cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock this Monday afternoon and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to the time of services.
