Mrs. Esther Stricker, 88, of 921 N. 9th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, June 7, at the residence.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Lind will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Stricker was born Dec. 9, 1892, at Menominee, Mich., daughter of the late Charles and Matilda Petersen Hanson. She attended schools in Michigan. She was married to William Stricker March 15, 1910, at Sturgeon Bay, the couple moving to Manitowoc to reside. He preceded her in death in 1959. Mrs. Stricker was a member of First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include four daughters and a son-in-law, Mrs. Emma Kimber, Mrs. Beatrice Berglund and Alice and Geroge Allen of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Adeline Austad of Sturgeon Bay; two half brothers, Royal Berggren of Menominee, Mich., and Grant Berggren of Marinette, Wis., four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in by (sic) two brothers, two sisters and her stepfather.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday until the time of services.
