Tim Boyd, 95, 0f Wichita Falls died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Wichita Falls. Services 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Howard Chapman officiating. A committal service will follow at Byers Cemetery in Byers, TX.

Tim was born January 24, 1914 in Mingus, TX to Gabriel Sweeze Lusk Boyd and Dora Olive Trythena Butler Boyd. He married Mary Steinsiek August 2, 1973, in Wichita Falls. He retired from Wilson Manufacturing after 35 years of service and was a member of the Machinist Union. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Mr. Boyd is preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Dora Boyd; brothers, Albert Boyd, Bennie Boyd; sister, Daisy Reynolds, Ruby Hulse, Maxine Williams; and son, David Boyd.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Boyd of Wichita Falls; brother, Charlie Boyd of Midland, TX; sister, Ella Mae Brown of Greeley, OK; daughter, Dolores Howard of Wichita Falls; sons, Jimmy Boyd of Wichita Falls, Jerry Boyd of Gillette, WY, Jacky Boyd of Whitesboro, TX, Thomas Boyd of Sherman, TX, Butch Steinsiek of New Orleans, LA, Brad Steinsiek of Grand Prairie, TX, David Steinsiek of Wichita Falls; twenty grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a great number of great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-granddaughter.
