Oscar Alford, 74, died at his home in Walkertown, Federalsburg, Tuesday morning, after a two months illness.
He was a retired farmer and son of the late William Alan and Elizabeth E. Noble Alford, and was born in Talbot County, but spent most of his life in Caroline County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice E. McMahan Alford, one sister, Miss Effie Alford of Federalsburg and one brother, Earl Alford of Dover, Del.; one nephew, two nieces.
Funeral services will be held at the Williamson Funeral Home, Federalsburg, (today) Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Arthur Hastings, pastor of Christ Methodist Church, Federalsburg, officiating. Burial will be made in the family plot in Hillcrest Cemetery.
