Marian M. Aaron, 56, of Wright City, Oklahoma passed away on March 18, 2000 at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born December 2, 1943 in Soper, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dave and Suzanna (Nehka) Wickson and had lived most of her life in Wright City. She married Joel Aaron on September 9, 1960 at Hampton Chapel Church in Spencerville, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Aaron loved going to church, singing and talking with her family. She had worked for the Choctaw Nation as a Community Health Representative for the past 20 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Joel Aaron, Jr., in 1970, and a brother, Edmond Wickson.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Lucille Gibson, Sandra Franklin, Cynthia Aaron and Jeanetta Aaron, all of Wright City; four brothers, Dave Wickson, Jr., of Hugo, Oklahoma, Ray Wickson of Ft. Towson, Oklahoma, Holliston Wickson of Garvin, Oklahoma and Fred Wickson of Frogville, Oklahoma; one half-brother, James LeFlore of Hugo; three sisters, Gladys Moore of Rufe, Oklahoma and Annie Wickson and Judy Phillips, both of Hugo; one half-sister, Ethel Ishcomer of Sobol, Oklahoma; one uncle, Elum Wesley of Detroit, Texas; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Gibson, Geneva Gibson, Almn Gibson, Kristin Franklin, Adam Gibson, Justin Franklin, Dustin Franklin and Channing Battiest; 31 nieces and nephews, several cousins and a host of friends.
