Emily Baird Giles, 86, of 321 Lindsey St. Reidsville, N.C. went to be with the Lord Wednesday May 1, 2013 at her home.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 4, 2013 in Greenview Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late William M. and Emily Baird Giles and had lived in Reidsville her entire life. Her family had been residents of Reidsville since the war between the states. She was a member of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church and was a retired clerical supervisor with Jefferson-Pilot Life in Greensboro, NC. She attended the local Reidsville Schools and graduated from Reidsville High School. She was also was a graduate of a Business College in Virginia.
Surviving: sister: Barbara G. McGuire and husband John of Cheverly, MD, two nephews: William McGuire, Sean McGuire and a niece: Andrea McGuire
There will be no formal visitation.
