She was born March 11, 1947, in Campbell, Mo., the daughter of James Earl and Norma Ellen Snider Foster. She married Ronald J. Alvers in 1969; he died in 1980.
Mrs. Alvers was a homemaker and managed Mers Goodwill in Edwardsville for seven years.
Survivors: two sons, Chris (wife, Kim) Baker and Timothy Alvers, both of Staunton; two daughters, Andria (husband, Jim) Baker of Wildwood, Mo., and Stacie (husband, Jeff) Schwartz of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; brother, Carl (wife, Fran) Foster of High Ridge, Mo.; sister, Joyce (husband, Redman) Hamner of Red Bud; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Landess Funeral Home, Campbell, Mo. Burial: Elders Cemetery, Campbell.
