Mrs. Eunice Potter Adams died Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at the Briggs residence on Prospect street, where she and her daughter had made their home for several years.
Mrs. Adams was in her ninetieth year, having been born in Bennington, Sept. 14, 1841, the daughter of the late Dr. Milton E. Potter and Eunice Cross Potter. Dr. Potter was the leading physician in Attica in his time. She was the widow of Dr. Newton H. Adams, a physician in the U.S. Navy, who died in 1869. Surviving Mrs. Adams is one son, Newton H. Adams of Washington, D.C. and one daughter Miss Janet Adams of Attica.
Funeral services will be held at the Briggs home on Prospect St. Friday afternoon at two o'clock standard time, with Rev. Stanley U. Mock, pastor of the Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will take place at Clarence.
Mrs. Adams was prominent in church and social work, until a few years ago, when her age confined her to the house.
