Nora Jean Stifflemire Morris was born April 23, 1943 in San Gabriel, Texas and was the daughter of Barney Elmer and Iris O'Bier (Strother) Stifflemire. She attended school at Thorndale and San Gabriel.

Nora had been a resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma since 1987, moving from Houston where she had lived for a number of years. In Houston she worked as a dispatcher for J. H. Rose Truck Line and had also worked for Weingarten in the main office. In Muskogee she was a Home Health Care Nurse.

Nora passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at her home in Muskogee. She reached the age of 70.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Edward Wentrcek; parents; brothers, Charles Stifflemire & Johnny Stifflemire; sisters, Mary Tyson & Patsy Wuensche.

Surviving family - son, Carl Elmer Wentrcek of San Antonio’ daughters, Debbie Adkins & husband, Greg of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Jessica Reyes & husband, Michael of Ft. Ruckers, Alabama; grandchildren, Brian Hargrave & wife Tammy, Rachelle McReynolds & husband Jason, Jaycie Rice, Little Mike Reyes; great-grandchildren, KayLee Clark and Brilee Hargrave; brothers, Larry Stifflemire & wife Becky of Caldwell, Ed Stifflemire & wife Elaine of Caldwell. sisters, Janell Kuempel & husband Jack of Freeport, Georgia Ann Allen & husband Kevin of Lexington.

Services were held at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Geary McManus officiating. Burial followed in the Knobbs Springs Cemetery in Lee County.

Serving as pallbearers were Joe Newman, Eddie Stifflemire, Jr., Jack Kuempel, Jr., David Tyson, Kolton Allen, Jonathan Jackson, Joe Sanchez, Jason McReynolds, Jack Stifflemire and Greg Adkins.
