ULYSSES E. STARR
CONCORDIA — The funeral for Ulysses Earl Starr, 82, Concordia, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, the Rev. Roger Winn officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.
Mr. Starr died Friday at the Belleville Health Care Center. He was born March 16, 1898, in Kansas.
He had been a resident of Concordia since 1956 after moving from Clyde. He was a retired laborer and had been night watchman in the city of Clyde for many years.
His wife, Nellie, died in January, 1980.
Surviving are two sons, William, McPherson, and Larry, Concordia; a step-son, Kenneth Starr, Overland Park; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard Monty and Mrs. Robert Mosher, both of Concordia, and Mrs. Howard George, Springdale, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Bess McAdams, Harper; a brother, Joe Starr, Florence; 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
