Born October 26, 1928 in Lineboro, MD, he was the son of the late Jacob F. and Carrie R. (Sterner) Berwager.
Clyde was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Hanover.
Mr. Berwager retired from the Hanover Post Office in 1991 after 30 years of service as a postal employee. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife, Clyde is survived by two children; Steven L. Berwager and wife Susan of Spring Grove, Stephanie J. O'Planick and husband David of Walkersville, MD; four grandchildren, Kristin O'Planick, Kimberly Schubert, Ryan O'Planick, Matthew Hartlaub; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jacob Berwager.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Grote.
A service to celebrate and remember Clyde's life will be held 11 a.m., May 1, 2013 at Calvary Bible Church, Hanover, with Rev. Michael Osladil and Pr. Daniel Dellosso a friend of the family, officiating. Burial will be at St. Jacob Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville, with the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard affording Military Honors.
