Irene was the third child of Charles Tatum Fullilove & Rachel McSwain. She was born on July 26, 1891. Probably in Hancock or Perry County, Mississippi. At the age of 26, she was married to Jean Philippe Thiac of Assumption Parish, Louisiana. The date was January 19, 1918. Irene died on December 12, 1959 at the age of 68. She was buried next to her parents in the family cemetery, McSwain-Carter Cemetery in New Augusta, Mississippi. It is unknown where her husband is buried, possibly next to his first wife.
