Rolliena was born Sept. 26, 1927, at Onaway, to Rollie R. and Naoma (Poesy) McKinney. She attended her schooling at Lewiston while living in the Lewiston Children's Home from ages 9 to 17. She finished her schooling at Moscow.

After her schooling, she worked at Washington State College in food service, later working in housing.

She married Larry Berry May 22, 1959, in Coeur d'Alene, and the couple made their home at Harvard until moving to Onaway in 1966. Mr. Berry worked for Potlatch Forests Inc. as a lumber grader. Larry died in December 2012.

Rolliena served as mayor of Onaway from 1980 to 1984, served on the Onaway Council and on the Onaway Water and Sewer Association Board. She was a member and past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary at Potlatch and the Rebekah Lodge at Potlatch.

Rolliena enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, traveling, and especially loved Arizona.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Otto McKinney and Wilber Dickinson; and one sister, Lorena Shuman.
