Ronald Leneil West, 77, of Hattiesburg, MS, died April 24, 2013, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb. Services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 19th Avenue Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, followed by burial in Roseland Park Cemetery.
Mr. West was a graduate of Ole Miss Pharmacy School and longtime pharmacist at Southwest Drugs. He was a member and deacon of 19th Avenue Baptist Church and a member of Gideons International.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Faye West; parents, William and Erette West; a sister, Ann Baucum; and a brother, Paul West.
He is survived by a son, Ron (Paula) West, Jr. of Summit; a daughter, Rhonda West (Mike) Lowe of Celina, TX; four grandchildren, Jeff (Ashlie) West of Petal, Christopher (Heather) Ramos of Commerce, TX, Catherine (Jeremy) Lofton of Ocean Springs and Shelby Lowe of Celina, TX; two brothers, Marvin West of Lexington, KY and Vic (Louise) West of Laurel; a sister, Maxine Stringer of Maryville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
