Coldwell - Logan. - On the morning of the 7th, in the presence of a limited number of friends, at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. Mary Logan, Rev. Jos. C. Coldwell and Miss Annie Logan were united in marriage. Rev. W. E. Keller, of Harrodsburg, officiated, and Mr. W. B. Mason and Miss Mattie Paxton, Emmett G. Logan, Esq., of the Courier-Journal (by proxy) and Miss Bettie Paxton, acted as attendants. In a becoming suit of Cashmere and velvet, with elegant garnet jewelry, the bride never looked sweeter or prettier, and it was with evident pride at his good fortune that the handsome groom promised to love, cherish and protect her through life. That he has won a true, loving and accomplished help meet, is the unanimous verdict of her great number of friends, all of whom unite in a heartfelt wish for her happiness. Mr. Coldwell is a young man of fine education, and is rapidly rising to prominence as a Presbyterian minister, and there is every evidence that Miss Annie has chosen wisely and well. The marriage is the consumation of hope formed in the happy school days, when Miss Annie was a scholar in the College at Shelbyville, Tenn., and it is truly a love match. After a hasty toilet to suit the long trip in store for her, the pair left for Shelbyville, Tennessee, where they will spend some time with Mr. Coldwell's relatives, and then go to Culleoka, Tennessee, where he is stationed as a pastor of a thriving Church.
