Joseph Coopman
Joseph Coopman, 75, 1027 N. Chestnut, died Friday morning in a local hospital. Born November 10, 1903 in Duck Creek to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Coopman, he married the former Frances Maples Jan. 10, 1924. Mr. Coopman was employed by Vans Greenhouse and Miller Rasmussen Company until his retirement in 1964. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Donald, Howard; Richard, John, Charles, all of Green Bay; four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Wagner, Pulaski; Mrs. Richard (Lillian) Weihbrecht, Mrs. Rick (Arlene) Lambert, Mrs. Carl (Betty) Roberts, all of Green Bay; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Vincent, Chicago, Ill.; 29 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Two sons and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Sunday. Wake service 8 p.m. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday at Lyndahl Funeral Home with the Rev. Lambert Scanlan officiating. Burial in Fort Howard Cemetery.
