Born Feb. 11, 1871, Spanish Fork, to John C. and Betsy Archibald Angus. Married Joseph Banks, Feb. 10, 1892, Manti Temple. He died April 7, 1945. President YWMIA and Primary; stake and ward Relief Society secretary; member 17th Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she and husband homesteaded in 1895 at Bancroft, Idaho.

Survivors: sons, daughters, Leo J., Mrs. Earl (Erma) Jorgensen, both Bancroft, Idaho; W. Merrill, Orem; Mrs. Vernon (Bessie) Clark, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Clyde (Dale) White, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Melvin (Marv) Mickelson, Lago, Idaho; 20 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Wednesday, noon 17th Ward chapel, 142 W. 1st North . Friends call Tuesday 6-8 p.m., 260 E. South Temple and one hour before services at the chapel. Burial Spanish Fork Cemetery. --From The Salt Lake Tribune (Salt Lake City, Utah), Tues., April 21, 1970, Page 23.

Lee Angus and daughter, Barbara, from Ballard, Utah attended the funeral of Mr. Angus' aunt, Jane Angus Banks, 99, the last survivor of the older Angus family.
