He was born July 23, 1945 in Jacksonville to Wilburn Green and Julia Baker Green.
Mr. Green was a security officer at Rusk State Hospital for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Bryan Green.
Survivors include his son, Alex and wife Stefanie Green of Jacksonville, brothers David Green and wife Marty of Houston, Jack Green and wife Gaynell of Mesquite, Homer Green of Bly, Oregon, a sister, Katie Gillespie of Jacksonville, best friend and companion Melba Davenport, Jacksonville. There are two grandsons, Brion Green, and Austin Work and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
