Final tribute for William H. Jarrett, 83, farmer of Henry County, who died at his home near Blackberry, was laid Wednesday with funeral services being held from the home with burial following in the church cemetery at Blackberry.
Pallbearers were grandsons and flower bearers were grand-daughters of the deceased.
His wife preceded him to the grave about 15 years ago.
He is survived by the following children: Mesdames S. A. Perdue, Gainesville, Fla.; W. L. Stone, Spencer; G. B. Cummings, Summerfield, N.C.; Lee Stone, city; Lucy Fretwell and Jesse Wheeler, Bassett; Messrs. Brown, Jarrett, Bassett; S. L. Jarrett, Fieldale and B. M. Jarrett of Martinsville Two brothers, Dave Jarrett of Bassett and Walter Jarrett of Roanoke and one sister, Mrs. Henry Mason of Rocky Mount, also remain.
The deceased was a member of Blackberry Baptist Church.
