Julia Zagora Lemek, 91, of Vernon, beloved wife for 66 years to the late Joseph Lemek, Jr, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (November 30, 2011). She was born on June 20, 1920 in Woonsocket, RI to the late Andrew and Katherine (Poludniak) Zagora. Julia was a member of St. Joseph's Church and St Helen's Society. She was an avid bowler with the St. Matthews Women's League for many years. She worked at US Envelope for 24 years until her retirement.
She is survived by her children Julie and Tom Wasilefsky of Clearwater, FL, Raymond and Joan Lemek of Warwick, MA; grandchildren Steven and Renita Wasilefsky, Keith and Laurie Wasilefsky, Craig and Helena Wasilefsky, Lora and Michael Kozyra, Becky and Chris Nichols, Ray and Kim Lemek, Patty and Steve Budzik, Audrey and Chris Howard; and great-grandchildren, Isaac and Jared Wasilefsky, Ben and Andy Wasilefsky, Michael Wasilefsky, Megan, Holly, Julianna and Jenna Kozyra, Jacob, Matthew and Zachary Nichols, Isabel and Quintin Lemek, Zachary and Kaitlyn McAllister, Olivia and Hayden Budzik, and Abbi Howard. Also survived by sisters-in-law Rose Bareisa, Peggy Lemek, Helen Lemek, and Stephanie Lemek; and a special daughter-in-law Susan Vaiciulis. Predeceased by her brothers Michael, John, Felix, Bruno; and sister Barbara Popick.
