A native of Italy, he came to California 20 years ago from Connecticut and to Santa Cruz five years ago from Cupertino.
Funeral services will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Wessendorf and Thal chapel, 223 Church street, to Holy Cross Church where a requiem mass will be offered. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum. The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in the mortuary chapel.
DiBella is survived by his wife, Frances DiBella of Santa Cruz; a daughter, Violet Evanovich of Santa Cruz; a son, Charles DiBella of Santa Cruz; two sisters and a brother in Italy, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
