Woman Dies at Hospital Following Attack of Appendicitis
Mrs. Helen Bellamy, 37, wife of Carl Bellamy whose home is at the corner of Second and Mulberry streets, died at 3:30 a.m. today at King's Daughters' hospital where she was taken yesterday afternoon suffering from an attack of appendicitis.
She was born in this city, a daughter of Abraham and Betty Griffin, and had spent her entire life here. Mrs. Bellamy attended Madison high school, having completed most of the four-year course. She had attended the First Baptist church.
Survivors are her husband, a sister, Mrs. Willard Spry, one niece and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at Haigh's funeral home Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in charge of Rev. H. M. Harris and the burial will be in Springdale cemetery.
