Anna Lee was the daughter of Richard Horatio Stevens who was born in Dulo, England in 1826 and died in Warren County, Georgia, 18 Feb 1875. Richard was married in 1854 to Frances William Whitehead, widow of Dr. Benjamin H. Pearson.

Mrs. Anna Irwin Buried Saturday
PROMINENT CITIZEN PASSES AWAY HERE
Mrs. Anna Lee Stevens Irwin of Sandersville, widow of the late Dr. Andrew Irwin passed away Friday morning, Dec. 22, at Rawlings Sanitarium after a short illness. She was 86 years old.
Mrs. Irwin was born in Hancock County on May 6, 1864. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stevens. Mrs. Irwin was an active member of Sandersville Christian Church and the Women's Christian Temperance Union.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. Findlay Irwin Sr., of Sandersville and Mrs. Will Armstrong of Statesboro; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Irwin were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 from the Sandersville Christian Church. the Rev. E.G. Orahood, pastor, officiated and burial was in City Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Jack Jenkins, Jeff Irwin, Emory Orahood, Irwin Evans, Sanders Mercer and Lewis Tompkins.
Lang's Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
