James Knox Polk Hester, George M. Dallas Hester and Henry Clay Hester were triplets born to John E. and Sarah (Bowen) Hester. They were the last of 10 children born in this family. James married Mary Moultrie Crosthwait on 24 of July, 1870 in Moulton, Alabama. They became the parents of ten children. The first five born in Alabama, three born in Texas and the last two born in Oklahoma.
