William Schlosser, seventy-five years old, well known citizen of this community for many years and a member of the pioneer family which founded the Schlosser Brothers creamery organization here more than fifty years ago, died at his home at 214 East Plymouth street Friday morning, April 4, at 1:30 am. He had been suffering from heart trouble for the past two years.

Funeral services were held in the Huff Funeral Home Sunday afternoon, Rev N B Wierwill of First Evangelical Reformed church officiating. The service at the grave was in charge of Bremen Lodge, F & A M.

Mr Schlosser was born April 9, 1871, the son of Jacob and Margaret (Karier) Schlosser. He had lived all his life in Bremen.

He was one of the Schlosser brothers who founded the original Schlosser Brothers creamery here and was manager of the Bremen plant for a number of years.

He was also a director of the Bremen State Bank for many years and was president of the institution until 1939, when he retired.

He was also a member of the official board of First Evangelical church and was a trustee at the time of the erection of the present edifice in 1923 and 1924. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity.

Mr Schlosser was married to Rebecca Laudeman on December 21, 1893. She died May 13, 1931.

On January 2, 1932, he was married to Mrs Lennie Plank of Worthington, Ind, who survives him.

Surviving also are one brother, Gustave Schlosser of Frankfort, and one sister, Mrs Noel Penrod of Bourbon.
