BARNETT, Flo "Madeline", age 72, of Sweetwater, formerly of Tellico Plains, passed away 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home. She was of the Christian faith. Preceded in death by husbands Larry Merrell and Roy Barnett, parents Fred & Imogene Shaw, brother-in-law Wendell Walker. Survivors-Sons: David L. Merrell, Jr. of Sweetwater and his son Dave Merrell & family, Darrell Edgar Barnett & wife Karen, Tellico Plains and his children Nikki and Hunter Barnett, Great Granddaughters: Ivy & Gracie, Sisters & brother-in-law: Mary Frances & Harold Gudger, Tellico Plains, Twin sister Maxine Walker, Tellico Plains,Sisters-in-law: Georgia Farrell, California, Betty McConkey, Madisonville, Edna Sweat, Sweetwater, Several nieces, nephews and other family members. Graveside service & interment 1:00 P.M. Friday, Center Cemetery, Rev. Harold Gudger officiating. Family will receive friends 12:00-12:45 P.M. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
