Jane Allison Pingree was born in Ogden, UT. Her parents were Curtis Leroy Allison and Lucy Ruth Peterson. Jane had two siblings: Curtis Leroy and Blanch Lucille Wagner.

Jane graduated from Ogden High, and then married her sweetheart, Willard H. Pingree, June 3, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized on June 3, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Jane was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She served in many callings: Relief Society President, Primary Secretary, MIA President, Home Making Leader and Visiting Teacher. Both Willard and Jane served as Ordinance Workers in the Ogden Temple.

Her parents, siblings and her husband preceded Jane in death. She is survived by five children: Jill Allison Gillette (Raymond/Bud), Kristine Allison Wilson (Steve), Richard Curtis Pingree, Ann Allison Marquart, Mark Earl Pingree, 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. The family will meet with friends one hour prior, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
