Obert Blessum was born in Hayfield, Mn, September 07, 1890 a son of Ole & Guri Blessum. Obert & Selma Jermeland were married at Ossian Iowa and four children blessed this union. Lester of Rugby ND, Edna Mae (Mrs. Asher) Austin of Reseda, CA., Paul of Burbank, Ca. and Herman of Rugby ND. After his wife Selma passed away on October 1959, he met and married Lillian Fjellanger and one child was born to this union, Roger of Bloominton, MN. Services were held at the First Lutheran Church, Rugby ND, Thursday, January 21, 1971 with Rev. Don Johnson officiating and with burial in the Persilla Watts Cemetery of Rugby ND.
