OBIT: ELIZABETH HECKMAN
Elizabeth was an old time and highly respected citizen of Salida, and died at her home, 117 Lower D St. where she lived with her son, Scott. She had been ill for many years of rheumatism, which crippled her limbs, but an acute attack of kidney trouble caused her death on 28 Feb 1923.
Mrs. Heckman came to Salida in 1890. She was the wife of the Rev. JACOB HECKMAN, a Methodist minister. She made her home with her children, living at the home of each for several years, after she was up in years.
