Friesen Elmer was born on September 10th 1930. Tragically Elmer died very suddenly in Cochrane on Wednesday, November 10th, 2010 at age 80 due to a train. Lovingly remembered by his wife Betty of 55 years, sons; Matthew (Lorie) and Mitchell (Joanne), daughter Lisa (Erol) Yersel, five grandchildren: Kaleigh (Mark), Joshua, Cole, Hillary, and Austin. . Great-grandson Bishop, and brother Edgar; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He is dearly missed.
A celebration of Elmers life was held at foothills Mennonite Church, 2115 Urbana Rd. NW., Calgary on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 1 PM.
