Nyla Jo (Brown) Roeder, 75, died Thursday, Sept. 16, at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was a resident of Rising Sun.
Survivors include two sons, John G. (Janice) Roeder Jr. of Lawrenceburg and Joseph (Jenny) Roeder of Rising Sun; two sisters, Norma (Bill) Mayfield of Florida and Nancy Cook of Martinsville; a brother, Bob (Marg) Brown of Franklin; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lenora (Fendley) and Donald Brown; her husband, John G. Roeder; and a sister, Susie Stout.
A funeral service was conducted Saturday at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun. Burial was at Rising Sun New Cemetery.
