Final Services for M. McCallum, 54
Malcolm N. McCallum, 54, lifelong resident of Huron county, died Thursday, May 11, in his farm home in Grant township after a long illness.
Son of the late Neil and Meadie McCallum, he was born July 25, 1912, in Sheridan township.
He and Miss Anna Kastraba were married Oct. 25, 1946, at Cass City.
A World War II veteran, he received a Bronze Star medal.
Mr. McCallum is survived by his widow; a daughter, Norene; two sons, Neil and Glen, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Russell Smith of Bad Axe and Mrs. Milton Stevens of Saginaw, and two brothers, Angus of Ubly and William of Ferndale.
Mr. McCallum was an elder of Fraser Presbyterian church and a member of Tyler Lodge No. 317, F & AM.
Services were held in Little's Funeral Home Saturday. Rev. John W. Osborn of Decatur officiated.
Burial was in Elkland cemetery.
