ARGIL A. CORBITT

Argil A. Corbitt, 76, of 11th Ave., Vienna, died Feb 13, 1999 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Lucille, W.Va., a son of the late Albert G. and Bessie Burch Corbitt. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Teamsters Union for over 40 years working with Belt Lines and Smith Transfer Corporation. Following his retirement he had worked for the Memorial Bridge.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margaret Bonnell Corbitt; two sons, Geral R, Corbitt and his wife Theresa of Louisville, Ky and Danny Rymer of Parkersburg; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Corbitt of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers, two sisters and one great-granddaughter.

Services were held Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, the Rev. Robert P. May and the Rev. Bob Marins officiating. Burial in Evergreen North Cemetery.
