He was a roofer, Assembly of God Faith and the son of the late Milford L. Barnes, Sr. and Edna Crews Barnes and was preceded in death by one brother, Jan Lee Barnes, several aunts and uncles.
He loved music, playing the guitar and The Beatles. He was a loving dad, brother and friend.
Survivors include one daughter, Ashley Lynn Barnes of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Milford Barnes, Jr. and wife, Shelley Diann of Monticello and Gary Wayne Barnes and wife, Judy of Warren; four sisters, Brenda Gay Sparks, Nelda Carol Smith, Cynthia Lou Lawson and husband, Thomas and Ann Marie Byrd and husband, Russell, all of Monticello; a very special aunt with whom he lived, Janey Barnes of Monticello and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
