George M. Burks, 58, rural McCutchenville farmer, brother of Mrs. Dale Dick, Clyde, died early Sunday in Huron Road Hospital, East Cleveland. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage Thursday night at the Northfield Park Raceway.

Services will be Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church, McCutchenville with burial in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCutchenville Goff Mortuary until noon Wednesday.

Other survivors are his wife, the former Oleta Dible; sons, Donald, Owen and Clyde, all of Sycamore; Carl and Paul, Tilffin; Charles, Adrian, Michigan; daughters, Mrs. Alvina Hall, Cincinnati; Mrs. Lois Wolber, Ada; Mrs. Vilrginia Mulholland, McCutchenville; Mrs. Mary Latham, Decatur, Ill.; and Mrs. Helen Jinks, Bucyrus; 40 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Herbert Dawson, Willard; Mrs. McClelland Coppler and Mrs. Edward Newland, both of Carey.

George was the son of William Floyd and Victoria Alvena (Richardson) Burks. He married Oletta Dible on April 24, 1908. The couple had twelve children: Donald George; Floy Walker; Carl David; Owen Lee; Clyde Mc Claren; Eva Alvena; Lois Ellen; Virginia Lee; Mary Irene; Helen Jean; Paul Duane; and Charles Frederick.
