"I was born at 3943 Michigan Ave. over a Blacksmith shop", she always said, to Anthony Joseph "Tony" & Alice Mary (Jones) Vardanega.

Married first on May 2, 1944, to Leo Poma, they had one daughter. Married second to George Henry Brusso and they had two children.

She loved books, studying the Bible, genealogy, old movies, playing the piano, listening to old records, working out math problems, collected recipes, did yoga, and loved her cats & dogs.

It was the early loss of her mother that saddened her throughout her adult years. Her pain and sadness are now gone.

Cause of death: Emphysema

"If I had one lifetime wish, one dream that could come true, I'd pray to God so hard for yesterday and for you. A thousand times I needed you, a thousand times I cried, if love could have saved you, you never would have died".
