Mrs. W. L. Davidson, Former Gonzalian Buried In Austin Sunday Afternoon

Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock in Austin Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Susan Howard Davidson, widow of the late Judge W. L. Davidson, who was one of Gonzales attorneys a number of years ago. The family was most prominent in the city's social life for a number of years, but moved away many years ago.
Mrs. Davidson died Friday at 4:30 at her home, 3200 West Avenue, Austin, where she had resided with her daughter, Mrs. W. C. Blanks, during her later years there.
Mrs. Davidson was a member of a pioneer family, her mother being Sarah Catherine DuVal; a cousin, John DuVal, fought at the battle of Goliad and was the author of a book "Early Times in Texas."
Listed among the honorary pallbearers were the names of Madden Fly, Frank Fly and W. M. Atkinson of Gonzales.
