William Calvin's death certficate shows his place of birth as Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. He may very well have been born in Barry County, Missouri as family stories indicate.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. C. F. Hanold, United Brethren church minister, at Strode Funeral Home Wednesday at 1 p.m. for William Calvin Dunaway, 89, who died at Yale Monday. W. S. Richards will assist Reverend Hanold with the services. Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery.

Dunaway was born March 1, 1856 at Springfield, Mo. He was married to Katherine Newman at Hiattville, Kas., May 9, 1875. They moved to Payne county in 1900 and he was engaged in the new and used furniture business here until about 10 years ago when he moved to Yale. Mrs. Dunaway died April 20, 1933.

Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Lillie Humphress Scott, of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Rose Elizabeth Lawler of Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. Flourney Ann Gill of Palm Springs, Calif.; Mrs. Maggie May King of Yale and Mrs. Ada Lee Thompson of Weed Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Robinson of Modessa, Calif., and 25 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

W.C. Dunaway died Monday, April 16, 1945, at 2:35, in the Yale hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Dunaway was 89 years old and has lived in Yale for many years, He leaves five daughters: Mrs. Lillie Scott of San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Rose Lawler, Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. Frona Gill, Palm Springs, Calif.; Mrs. Ada Thompson, Weed, Calif.; and Mrs. Maggie King, Yale, Okla.

Funeral services were conducted in the Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater and burial made in the Fairlawn cemetery.
