Twin brother of Florence, born to John & Ellen (Smith) Millington in England. He emigrated to America with two friends Tom Howath and Bill Worthington arriving at Ellis Island, New York on July 8, 1910 with a destination of Lochgelly, West Virginia. Leonard met and married Adeline (Dickens) Haines later that same year. To this union was born a son John and twin daughters Edith and Amy. By 1920 they were living in Terre Haute, Indiana and by 1930 they were living in Flint, Michigan where Leonard worked for General Motors in the Chevrolet automobile division until he retired. Leonard died on September 16, 1957 leaving his son John and three daughters Anne(step-daughter) Edith and Amy. He is buried at Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint, Michigan next to his wife Adeline.
